This is was dreams are made of!
Jennifer Lawrence shared some big news while chatting with the New York Times on Wednesday -- she's writing a screenplay with none other than Amy Schumer.
"Amy and I were creatively made for each other," Lawrence told the paper about their new comedy. "We have different flavors. It's been the most fun experience of my life. We start the day off on the phone, laughing. And then we send each other pages. And we crack up."
The best part is, both Jennifer and Amy plan to star in the funny flick ... as sisters!
The comedienne's real-life sibling Kim, who worked on "Trainwreck" with Schumer, is also writing the script with them.
"I emailed her after I saw 'Trainwreck' and said, 'I don't know where to get started. I guess I should just say it: I'm in love with you,'" Lawrence continued. "We started emailing, and then emailing turned to texting."
J. Law even informed the "Inside Amy Schumer" star that she spilled the news to the Times reporter.
"I wrote, 'I just spilled the beans to The New York Times. Is that O.K.?'" Lawrence said. "And Amy wrote back, 'That you're gay? Totally! It's exciting!'"
The funny ladies have become fast friends -- earlier this summer the Oscar-winning actress was spotted on vacation with the Comedy Central star.
Amy posted a photo of her and the "Hunger Games" star riding the waves together on a jet ski. "Jlaw #maniac," she captioned the candid snap.
