No first day of school jitters here!
Jennifer Hudson proved she was a proud mom on Wednesday when she took to Instagram to share photos from her adorable son, David's, first day of school.
"Happy first day of school my baby!" she captioned the pic.
In the snap, the 6-year-old meets some of the staff at his new school while standing next to his famous mom. The adorable kiddo is dressed in his back to school best -- a plaid button up, orange polo and a matching backpack.
The "American Idol" alum welcomed her son with fiance David Otunga back in 2009.
It's been a busy week for the "Trouble" singer, who took her son back to school shopping last Friday. She also shared a photo of a sweet surprise she had for her little boy in honor of him going into the first grade.
"I bit right into that first day!" she captioned a photo of her son demolishing a delicious looking school-themed cake with an apple on top.
