There's nothing like the bond between mother and baby!
Jessie James Decker took to Instagram on Thursday, to share a sweet snapshot of her breastfeeding her newborn baby boy, Eric Thomas.
In the shot, New York Jets star Eric Decker's wife poses for the camera as she nurses their 5-week-old son. "Love being a mommy and feeding my sweet boy," she captioned the candid snap.
The country singer opened up about her views on breastfeeding in the September issue of American Baby.
"I really loved breastfeeding the first time around," she told the mag. "It's such a wonderful, intimate thing to share with your child. I remember that full, happy look Vivianne would get when she was done. I also love all the cuddling during the baby stage, like when a baby snuggles up under your chin."
Decker -- like stars Alyssa Milano, Olivia Wilde and Gisele Bundchen -- believes we need to normalize nursing.
"In photos of me nursing, there's probably less cleavage than what I've shown on the red carpet," she explained. "Sharing breastfeeding photos online is a good example for other women who want to nurse. Nursing is hard. It doesn't always come easy and we need to support each other."
Fellow NFL star, Tom Brady's wife shared a shot of her breastfeeding their daughter Vivian Lake in 2013. "What would I do without this beauty squad after the 15 hours flying and only 3 hours of sleep #multitasking#gettingready," she posted along with the pic.
But Bundchen did come under fire for making some harsh comments about those who choose not to nurse, while chatting with Harper's Bazaar UK.
"Some people here think they don't have to breastfeed, and I think, 'Are you going to give chemical food to your child, when they are so little?' There should be a worldwide law, in my opinion, that mothers should breastfeed their babies for six months," she told the mag.
