Ricky Gervais delivered some controversial jokes, there were some surprising wins and one reunion that made us all swoon!
Here are the biggest moments from the night:
1.) Ricky Gervais' Opening Monologue
While he also took aim at Jennifer Lawrence and NBC itself, it's his joke about Caitlyn Jenner that really got everyone talking.
"I've changed, [but] not as much as Bruce Jenner, obviously." he started out. "Now Caitlyn Jenner, of course. What a year she's had. She became a role model for trans people everywhere, showing great bravery in breaking down barriers and destroying stereotypes. She didn't do a lot for women drivers, but you can't do everything."
That, of course, is a reference to the four-car accident Caitlyn was involved in last year that claimed the life of another driver. Yikes!
2.) Matt Damon's Awkward Moment
When the host was introducing Matt Damon, he poked fun at his "Good Will Hunting" partner's split from Jen Garner.
"Our next presenter is the star of the hilarious comedy, 'The Martian,'" he said with a laugh. "He's also the only person who Ben Affleck hasn't been unfaithful to. Please welcome, Matt Damon."
You gotta see Matt's reaction.
3) Sylvester Stallone Forgot Some VERY Big Names
Sylvester Stallone got a standing ovation for his Best Supporting Actor win for his work in "Creed," where he reprised his role as Philadelphia's favorite son Rocky Balboa.
While he thanked his family, his representation and the voters, he forgot two very important people: The film's director Ryan Coogler and star Michael B. Jordan.
According to those in the audience, Sly ran back out on stage after NBC had already cut to a commercial to thank them, but the viewers at home never saw it. Whoops!
4.) This.
Jeffrey Tambor ended up losing too, as Gael Garcia Bernal ended up winning Best Actor in a Comedy for his work on "Mozart In the Jungle."
5.) A "Titanic" Reunion
It was a fleeting moment before a commercial break, but "Titanic" lovebirds Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet were spotted sharing a kiss and conversation in the audience.
Jack and Rose, forever!
6.) Lady Gaga Wins!
While there were a lot of shockers this year, Lady Gaga winning an acting award for "American Horror Story: Hotel" was right at the top.
She went on to call the win "one of the greatest moments" of her life, before thanking Ryan Murphy, Matt Bomer, Denis O'Hate, Angela Bassett, Cheyenne Jackson, Finn Wittrock, Chloe Sevigny and Evan Peters. "Because of you, I was able to shine. Thank you for sharing your talent with me," she added.
The one person she didn't thank: Her hot fiance Taylor Kinney.

7.) That Ricky/Mel Gibson Moment
THIS was the moment everyone will be talking about for a while, as Ricky was relentless when introducing Mel Gibson.
He took aim at the actor's DUI arrest and was bleeped when asking him, "What the f--k does Sugartits even mean?"
