Khloe Kardashian is getting candid about her journey with Lamar Odom.
The 31-year-old appeared on ABC's "Good Morning American" on Wednesday and opened up about the tumultuous past few months with her estranged husband, who was hospitalized for a drug overdose after being found unconscious in a Nevada brothel in October. The NBA player was released from the hospital and is reportedly "doing really well," but still has a long way to go on his road to recovery.
"He's doing really well, he's finally out of the hospital. He's doing great but, you know, it's a long journey and it's something that he's working really hard on," the reality star told GMA's Lara Spencer. "Every day is different. We take every day as it comes. I've learned not to really look into the future too much."
"It was really scary," Khloe said of the whole ordeal. "I know when we got to the hospital in Vegas, we were told, you know, there's only a few hours to live and we had to make some medical decisions. There were a lot of challenges but he's a fighter and, obviously, he's here now and he's out of the hospital."
The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star rushed to be by the 36-year-old's side after she got the news and halted her divorce from Odom so she could make important medical decisions for him. While the star has been vocal about always having love for Lamar, she insists that she's not even thinking about reconciling with him.
"I do believe that we're soulmates but that's not even where my head is at," she revealed. "I think people, they don't understand the severity of everything. It's all about his health and my happiness and his happiness and right now those are two individual things."
That wasn't the only health scare for the "Kocktails with Khloe" host. Over the holidays, her brother Rob Kardashian was diagnosed with diabetes. The 28-year-old has been out of the spotlight and struggling with his health for some time, but Khloe says the scare helped her younger brother reevaluate his life.
"Everything happens for a reason so that health scare, if that's going to make him, like shake him up a little bit and let's jumpstart his health journey, then great, I'm right here for him," she said. "He's taking it seriously. Yeah, we're only like 13 days into the New Year but that's good enough for me."
Khlo also couldn't help but gush over the latest addition to the family, Kim Kardashian's baby boy Saint West, who she welcomed in December.
"So, so cute! North is obsessed with him, so that's good," she laughed.
