This duo has officially become a trio!
Keifer and Shawna Thompson of Thompson Square welcomed their first child together, a baby boy named Rigney Cooper Thompson, at 2:46 am in Nashville on Monday.
Their baby boy weighed in at 7lbs and 13 oz. He's 19 inches long and has brown hair and bright blue eyes.
The country singers shared their excitement in joint statement on Monday.
"We're so excited to be able to share this monumental day with all of you. We've had many wonderful things happen to us but this absolutely tops them all. We want to thank you all for being there for us and our music and for all of your support during our pregnancy. We can't wait to see you out on the road this year but until then. . .Please say hello and welcome to this big ol world, Rigney Cooper Thompson aka #coopert #cooperman #coopdeville #coopdog #sircoopsalot."
The name Rigney also holds a special place in the couple's heart -- it's the maiden name of Shawna's grandmother.
Keifer opened up about their big baby news while chatting with toofab's Brittany Kyles in August.
"It's kind of consuming our whole existence," he said of the pregnancy. "I love it. I don't know that we believed we would ever do this, you know? We are buying clothes and cribs and getting the house ready, that kind of stuff. It's a pretty exciting time for us."
The gorgeous couple -- who will be celebrating their 17th wedding anniversary in May -- sure have a lot to be thankful for!
