We're skidding towards the Super Bowl like a running back across the turf, so what should we be focusing on? Assessing each team's chances? Tallying up their previous successes and failures?
Obviously, it's the celebs in the ads. For some of us, the highlights of the Super Bowl are the moments when the actual Super Bowl isn't on. Between the big budget commercials, movie trailer premieres and the over-the-top Halftime Show, there's plenty to keep the non-sports fan distracted on Game Day.
Here's a comprehensive list of all the celebrity commercials from this year's event!
Bud Light
Seth Rogen and Amy Schumer don suits and Spanx in a Bud Light commercial that spoofs the recent presidential campaign ads. After the Iowa Caucus, there are a couple candidates who might need a drink or two.
T-Mobile
Drake spends this T-Mobile commercial making fun of ... phone plan commercials. The singer may be selling out, but if it gets us more of the his amazing dance moves, we're all for it.
Apartments.com
Jeff Goldblum and Lil' Wayne star in this ad for Apartments.com, in which Jeff sings and Weezy does not. Don't let the role reversal rattle you, though -- the “Independence Day” star is actually an accomplished jazz singer. Definitely buy these apartments if he comes with them.
Snickers
Ever wanted to see what "The Seven Year Itch" would look like with Willem Dafoe instead of Marilyn Monroe? No? Well, too bad. Check him out in the film's infamous grate scene!
Hyundai Elantra
Apparently, if you buy a Hyundai Elantra, everyone around you will turn into Ryan Reynolds. There has never been a better sales pitch for any car ever, unless you're Scarlett Johansson.
Hyundai Genesis
Kevin Hart uses the Hyundai Genesis' handy Car Finder feature to follow his daughter around on a date and scare off her boyfriend. Moral of the Commercial: Only buy this car if you no longer live with your parents.
Skittles
Steven Tyler is presented with a self-portrait made of Skittles, which he labels, "Disgusting." Wait'll you see the lips on it!
Kia
Kia gives us an commercial for the fabulous Walken Closet: you walk in, and Christopher Walken materializes to hand you whatever article of clothing you just lost. Yes, you read that right. BTW: This ad has nothing to do with the Kia Optima whatsoever.
Mini Clubman
Serena Williams, T-Pain, and Harvey Keitel join a phalanx of celebs to announce the new Mini Clubman and encourage us to #DefyLabels. Unfortunately, Keitel also defied the urge to shave properly that morning.
Butterfinger
Overheard while this ad was being written: “Wait, were we supposed to put Billy Eichner in this? Oh, God, I completely forgot! Oh, um...put him on a flying bomb somewhere in the middle of the commercial. And have him sing. I don't care if it's a non sequitur. JUST DO IT.”
Shock Top
Comedian and "Silicon Valley" star T.J. Miller enters a bar and roasts the fake orange slice on the Shock Top lever - and the slice roasts him back! Highlight: "Do you consider fresh-squeezed orange juice murder?"
Budweiser
Helen Mirren gives drunk drivers a legendary verbal laceration, all while enjoying a Bud. No one seems less likely to actually drink Budweiser than this Dame Commander of the British Empire, but hey, that's why she's an Oscar winner!
Amazon Echo
Alec Baldwin orders around his chefs using the new Amazon Echo - but the Echo's voice will never be as alluring as Alec's. Come on.
LG OLED TV
Liam Neeson co-stars with his son Micheál in this sci-fi themed LD commercial. Don't panic; his son's great ... and he doesn't get "Taken."
