Before seeing each other at New York Fashion Week earlier this year, the last time Lamar Odom met with Caitlyn Jenner, she was still Bruce.
And in a sneak peek clip from Sunday's new "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," we learn that the former basketball star had a hard time understanding Cait's transition.
In the video, Kim Kardashian and La La Anthony meet up with Caitlyn for a little chat ahead of Kanye West's Yeezy show.
"Lamar's coming into town, isn't that exciting?" Kim asks. "Extraordinarily exciting," Jenner replies.
"He saw something on the news about you and he was a little confused, so I had to explain it to him," Kardashian then says. "I was like, well it's Caitlyn now. He was like 'What?'
Jenner says she knows Khloe had also tried to break the news to Odom, but at the time, he wasn't "getting anything."
Odom spent the latter part of 2015 recovering from an overdose at a Nevada brothel. Khloe also revealed on "Kocktails with Khloe" that Lamar didn't know about Caitlyn's transition before he was hospitalized because he, "was not in the best state."
Khloe's estranged husband made his first public appearance at Kanye's fashion show, alongside the entire Kardashian-Jenner family, Caitlyn included.
Later in the clip, Caitlyn reveals that Khloe hasn't been on speaking terms with her after their big blowout on last week's episode.
After Kim's sister appeared on Howard Stern's SirusXM show back in January, she got a few aggressive texts from Cait. "I said nothing that was inappropriate, I said nothing that was new information, everything had been said before," Khloe revealed this past Sunday.
"She can tell me to f--- off all she wants. I don't have a relationship with her. I'm done," she later vented.
"She's out there talking s--t about me!," Cait yelled back, in a phone conversation with Kris Jenner. "You don't go on f---ing Howard Stern and call me a liar."
We'll see if anything gets resolved between them when a new episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" airs Sunday night on E!
