Emilia Clarke is back in the buff ... and proud of it!
Sunday night's episode of "Game of Thrones" ended with one incredible Daenerys Targaryen moment, as The Unburnt lived up to her name once again.
After being kidnapped by a pack of Dothraki, she was taken to Vaes Dothrak, where the men in charge threatened to rape her. That didn't sit well with the Mother of Dragons, who trapped all the Khals in a hut before setting fire to it ... while she was still inside.
Though all the men perished, she emerged from the hut naked and unharmed, proving once and for all that fire doesn't hurt her.
While Lena Headey recently employed a body double to shoot her character's memorable walk of atonement last season, Clarke wants everyone to know her scene was the real deal. Of course, she's been naked on the show before, but started to cover up more as her profile rose.
"I'd like to remind people the last time I took my clothes off was season 3," she says in a new interview with Entertainment Weekly. "That was awhile ago. It's now season 6. But this is all me, all proud, all strong. I'm just feeling genuinely happy I said 'Yes.' That ain't no body double!"
Unlike her first totally nude fire-walk back in Season 1, this time the actress was able to film the scene on a closed set ... something that made her feel a lot more comfortable.
"Taking off my clothes is not the easiest thing, but with the magic of the effects, I don't have to do a Season 1 and go on a cliff and do it," she adds of having a closed set this time around. "I'm in control of it."
Clarke -- who has been openly protesting to get more male nudity on the show -- is thrilled with how the scene turned out.
"It's so exciting, very tingly-making," she tells the mag. "Every season I get at least one spine-chilling moment. I just stand up and I go, "I'm hearing what you're all saying, but funny thing, I'm going to kill you all. I forgot that I have an ace in my back pocket and now I win.'"
With the Dothraki at her command, a trio of dragons and the Unsullied and the Second Sons backing her, is Dany the one to beat? Sound off below!
