The new mom appeared on Tuesday's "Good Morning America" for a sit-down interview with their new anchor Michael Strahan.
During the candid conversation, Chrissy dished about motherhood and dealing with her critics.
Teigen was slammed after she and hubby John Legend went out to dinner just one week after their baby girl Luna was born.
"It was about 9 to 10 days after or something," she explained. "We needed a break. We needed to go and enjoy each other's company and be out. I used to read mom blogs like crazy so I knew 'mom-shaming' was a thing, but I didn't think it would come from going to dinner."
"I think happy mommy, happy daddy, happy baby," she added. "Happy life," Strahan clarified.
Michael also noted how Chrissy's hubby came to her defense after the public outing. "Funny there's no dad-shaming," he tweeted after their date. "When both of us go out to dinner, shame both of us so Chrissy doesn't have to take it all. We'll split it."
