The ladies of Litchfield are in for a rude awakening this year -- and the stars of "Orange Is the New Black" are spilling some serious secrets about the new season!
When we last saw our favorite felons, they were getting some brand new roomies as the prison bussed in around 100 new inmates.
"There are a lot of new people," Selenis Leyva -- who plays tough chef Gloria Mendoza -- told toofab's Candice Brock at Thursday night's PaleyFest event in Los Angeles. "It's the rise of the Latinas and even amongst that, there's going to be a lot of conflict. It's a scary season!"
Leyva wasn't alone in teasing some treacherous terrain ahead.
"It's definitely a very different season in tone," warned Taryn Manning, AKA Pennsatucky. "It's dramatic, it's sad, it's confusing, it's hectic, it's frustrating. You guys will be like 'Aahh!'
So many intriguing adjectives ... we're in!
Amidst all the chaos, is there time for a little love connection too?
"I don't know," Kate Mulgrew replied when we asked what's going on between Red and Healy this year. "If it was from my druthers, I could work with Michael Harney until the cows come home, when I work with him I know it's going to be sheer bliss and I want the day to never stop. Having said that, it's prison, this is an illicit relationship."
Harney also teased that fans will "probably be moved" by what transpires between them in the new episodes.
Check out the full video above to see what the group had to say about potential spin-off shows, crossovers and why they've never actually received any fan mail ... from prison!
"Orange Is the New Black" returns to Netflix on June 17.
