Having appeared on "America's Next Top Model" twice, Lisa D'Amato knows a thing or two about sharing a house with some interesting characters ... herself included ... but Tara Reid might be one of the more difficult people she's ever lived with.
The two co-star on the current season of "Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars," which Lisa appears on with her husband, Adam Friedman, while Tara's joined by maybe-boyfriend Dean May.
Both Lisa and Adam were intrigued by Tara's presence in the show, both having been fans of her from her film work. But, once they all got in the house together, they saw a totally different side of her.
"I had known Dean for 10 years because of the club scene in Hollywood [May is a promoter] and Tara, I know from 'American Pie,'" explains Lisa. "[I was] super shocked she was there because it seems she had fallen from grace for a while. So I was quite curious, just like everyone else who knows how Tara Reid is, how she is, if she's stable."
"News break, she's not," D'Amato candidly reveals.
Her husband adds that the "Sharknado" star came with a lot of baggage, saying living with her involved "craziness, drama, entitlement."
"We're so close to all the rest of everyone, which was magical," Lisa continues. "But those two, we just didn't understand how they were a couple or why they were there. It was a big distraction, them being there. I tried to be forthcoming in assisting, letting her know I was a friend or could be in the house. She was so adamant to not let go. The therapy would help her tremendously, but she wasn't letting it happen."
D'Amato's questioning whether Tara and Dean were a couple is interesting. The two had never been linked before they appeared together in the first trailer for the WEtv series. When asked whether Lisa thought Tara did "Marriage Boot Camp" simply to be on television -- and not to actually get any help -- she replied, "or the money."

It's clear Tara doesn't have many fond memories from the show either, as she tried to distance herself from the experience in a brutal radio interview with Jenny McCarthy earlier today.
When Jenny brought up the reality show, saying she "f--king love[d]" watching Reid on it, Tara got instantly cold. "It's not worth the time to talk about. Babe, I asked you, please let's not talk about this show."
McCarthy pressed on with more questions that struck a nerve with the actress, asking about her plastic surgery issues in the past.
"No, I haven't had any surgery for awhile, Jenny," Tara replied. "I think I've made that clear about 100 times. Maybe you only read the bad things, but I've made that really clear for so many years."
Reid then decided to walk out on the interview, as the two traded insults about their respective boob jobs and careers. It ends with Jenny telling Tara, "Good luck with 'Sharknado 18.'"
