One of MTV's most infamous stars is off the market!
"The Real World: Las Vegas" alum Trishelle Cannatella just got engaged to her longtime beau -- and we've got all the details on the over-the-top proposal.
The 36-year-old former reality TV star's fiancé is John Hensz, a fighter pilot with the Louisiana Air National Guard and pilot for Delta. The two met at a brunch in New Orleans, where she currently lives, and the they have been "inseparable ever since."
"My engagement was amazing," Cannatella tells toofab. "He completely surprised me. We went to brunch at Brennan's with my sister then walked outside and saw my best friend standing there with a few friends listening to a jazz band. I thought we just ran into them randomly then we walked down the street and I saw more of my friends."
"At that point, I realized that the jazz band was following us and we had police escorts," she continues. "Then ran into more friends who gave me a parasol (umbrella people use when doing a traditional second-line in New Orleans). So we all danced down the street in the French Quarter until we reached Jackson Square and my daddy and step mom and more friends were there and he got down on one knee in the park in front of the church with the band playing!"
She, of course, said yes!
"It was insane," Trishelle adds. "He had to get a city permit for the second line and everything, I was so shocked. He did so well with the ring too!!"
That he did -- take a look at that rock:
This is the first marriage for Trishelle, who became a household name way back in 2002.
We recently chatted with Cannatella about her time on the show, where she sounded off on whether she felt she was accurately portrayed on the series.
"It's hard to say accurately portrayed. Clearly, there was editing. I can't deny my actions, because they were on camera," she told us earlier this year. "Did I make out with two people in a hot tub, yeah. Could they have made it seem a little less shocking than it was? Yeah. Was there really a pregnancy scare? No, there wasn't!
As for the legendary "threesome," Trishelle also told us it didn't go any further than some tongue-wrestling in the hot tub.
"A hundred percent never happened, ever! Like, look, I would say it. I'm thirty-six now. I would tell you guys" she exclaimed. "I would tell you! Like, there was nothing that happened. It was just a three-way kiss. It was not a big deal!"
