Whoa, baby!
Chrissy Teigen made it very clear that she is not interested in receiving parenting advice from her Twitter followers.
On Wednesday, one bold follower took to the social media site to criticize the way the model was carrying her baby daughter Luna.
"@chrissyteigen this is not how a baby is held!!!!" the follower captioned a couple shots that showed the 30-year-old cradling her babe with one arm, and cupping her face with another.
"Really because that's how I'm f---ing holding her," the Sports Illustrated swimsuit model shot back.
Teigen then went on to defend herself and call out her critic for judging her.
"Let me know how you hold your baby when she's about [to get] into a stroller and there are 20 camera flashes at night," said Teigen, who was walking alongside a sidewalk with husband John Legend when paparazzi snapped the pics. "Photos are literally split-second moments in time that evolve."
"I despise mommy shamers. I am a proud shamer of mommy shamers," she added.
But in engaging her hater, she incited others to chime in.
"There are incorrect ways to hold infants whether shielding her from a fire or pap!" another follower weighed in.
But the outspoken mother made no hesitation in shutting down that individual as well, saying, "Please, do shut up."
Teigen's Twitter wars come just weeks after the avid social media user decided to set her account to private.
"I just feel like I'm absorbing bad s--t 24/7. My body and mind cannot handle it anymore," she said about her decision, also adding that she was not "strong enough" for nasty back-and-forth that can ensue on the site.
And while setting her account to private may prevent the masses from sharing their thoughts on her every move and 140-character statement, it doesn't prevent her existing followers from doing the same.
