Hot off the heels of the birth of their second child, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds recently had another reason to celebrate: the "Deadpool" star's 40th birthday.
While the famous couple has refrained from making any official announcements about their newborn -- including the babe's name or gender -- they've been more forthcoming with the details of the birthday boy's bash.
Both Lively, 29, and Reynolds took to Instagram to share shots of his fete at New York City restaurant O Ya.
"@_oya We fell in love at your restaurant in Boston. We stay in love at your restaurant in NY. Thank you for the BEST food and memories!" Lively captioned a shot of herself embracing her hubby amidst streamers and balloons that spelled out 40. "You are our FAVORITE!! Another happy birthday with @vancityreynolds. Hey, Reynolds, I like you a whole lot. Just sayin'..."

The father-of-two shared his appreciation for the celebration, which Lively put together.
"Best. Birthday. Everrrrr. Courtesy of my wife, buddy, and international spy, @blakelively," he captioned a shot that shows the couple smiling as they sport playful bunny masks while they dine in a private room at O Ya.
"With huge thanks to my favorite restaurant in NYC, @_oya -- and a special shout out to our children for not ruining everything like they planned," the actor went on to joke."
Lively and Reynolds welcomed their first daughter, James, in December 2014 and their second child in September 2016.
The pair enjoyed their time away from the kiddos with what appears to be red wine -- visible in Reynold's Insta shot -- and "lots of love and sushi," according to O Ya's Instagram account, which shared a shot of the couple posing alongside chefs Tim and Nancy Cushman.
