Sisterhood of the traveling maternity pants!
Days after announcing she's pregnant with a baby girl with husband David Cross, Amber Tamblyn's friend and "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" costar Blake Lively took to Instagram to congratulate the expectant celeb.
The "Café Society" star's post features a shot of Lively adorably cradling the 33-year-old's baby bump alongside a throwback shot of a baby Tamblyn sitting atop her own mother's shoulders.
"'I am asking you to rethink women, period. Go deep. See the frame that holds the big picture...'" So proud of my dear friend, and new mama to be, @amberrosetamblyn Check out her piece on @glamourmag," wrote Lively, who kicked off her caption with a quote from Tamblyn's essay in Glamour magazine, in which she writes about telling her mother about being sexually assaulted by an ex-boyfriend. "Whatever your beliefs, one thing is certain, the world must be a better, safer place for women and girls. the time is now."
Tamblyn also took to Instagram to share her appreciation for her bestie's praise.
"Love my Sister so much," she wrote of the regrammed shot. "Look at this collage she made! Someone get me a tissue!!!!!"
Lively had her first child with husband Ryan Reynolds, baby girl James back in January 2015, and the pair just welcomed their second child in September (and have yet to reveal the babe's name).
The timing of Tamblyn's pregnancy opens up the possibility that her and Lively's child might share a friendship similar to the one that exists between their mothers.
Perhaps there's a pair of mini traveling pants in these kiddos' future!
