Press Secretary Sean Spicer has some criticisms of Melissa McCarthy's portrayal of him on this weekend's "SNL."
"[McCarthy] needs to slow down on the gum chewing," the gum enthusiast told EXTRA. "Way too many pieces in there."
Spicer also revealed that he received so many messages after the show's airing, he thought there was a national emergency happening, according to EXTRA.
Though he called the show "funny," Spicer admitted that he thought McCarthy "could dial back" her impression of him.
What he didn't find funny was Alec Baldwin's persistent Trump impersonation.
"Alec has gone from funny to mean and that's unfortunate," he explained. "SNL used to be really funny. There's a streak of meanness now that they've crossed over to mean."

In McCarthy's skit, she gobbled a half-container of gum and opened by saying: "Before we begin, I know the press and myself have gotten off to a rocky start. When I say rocky I mean in the sense of 'Rocky' the movie because I came out here to punch you in the face, and also I don't talk so good."
