Lorde dropped her highly anticipated single "Green Light" on Thursday along with track's official music video directed by Grant Singer.
The single marks first new music released by the New Zealand born singer since the release of "Hunger Games" track "Yellow Flicker Beat" in 2014 and her 2013 album, "Pure Heroine."
Lorde has been teasing the new song for days on her official website and social media accounts.
"I am so proud of this song. It's very different, and kinda unexpected. It's complex and funny and sad and joyous and it'll make you DANCE," Lorde said.
