Donald Trump has weighed in on the outrage over Kathy Griffin's poorly received head stunt, and as you can probably guess, he's not happy about it either.
"Kathy Griffin should be ashamed of herself," the President tweeted Wednesday morning. "My children, especially my 11 year old son, Barron, are having a hard with this. Sick!"
Griffin has already apologized for a photo shoot in which she held the fake bloody, decapitated head of Trump. She has since deleted a behind-the-scenes video from the photo shoot and the images.
Griffin's Beheaded Trump Photo Sparks Backlash: See Twitter Reactions
View Story"I sincerely apologize. I am just now seeing the reaction to these images," she said Tuesday. "I'm a comic. I crossed the line. I move the line. Then I cross it. I went way too far. The image is too disturbing. I understand how it offends people. It wasn't funny. I get it. I've made a lot of mistakes in my career. I will continue. I ask your forgiveness. Taking down the image. I am going to ask the photographer to take down the image. And I beg for your forgiveness. I went too far. I made a mistake and I was wrong."
Photographer Tyler Shields also took to Twitter Tuesday to say the project was nothing more than an "artistic statement."

Thanks, Kathy Griffin, but I really wasn't looking for common ground with Trumpists in support of an ignorant, lying, traitorous, goon thug.

.@kathygriffin I'm sorry but that is totally inappropriate and so very offensive. And I have to believe you're smart enough to know better.

The Secret Service released a statement that it is investigating the potential threat to President Trump's life, and even worse for Griffin, her career has already been impacted. Squatty Potty has suspended its ad campaign featuring the comedian and released the following statement, "We were shocked and disappointed to learn about the image Ms. Griffin shared today. It was deeply inappropriate and runs contrary to the core values our company stands for."
