George Clooney and Amal officially welcomed twins Ella and Alexander on Tuesday.
"This morning Amal and George welcomed Ella and Alexander Clooney into their lives. Ella, Alexander and Amal are all healthy, happy and doing fine. George is sedated and should recover in a few days," a rep for George said in a statement.
The pair announced their pregnancy in early February, and the 56-year-old actor later said in an interview that his friends got a good laugh when they broke the baby news.

The movie star said he made the announcement to about eight friends at dinner one night. While initially "supportive," Clooney said "it got really quiet."
"And they all just started making baby crying noises, and the whole table just busted up laughing," Clooney said. "We are really happy and really excited. It's going to be an adventure."
Congrats to the happy couple!
