When Jerry Seinfeld caught his teenage daughter, Sascha, watching "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," the comedian lost his temper.
"I'm offended by reality television on many levels, and that show -- of course -- is the premier example of reality television," Seinfeld said in a recent interview with Mr Porter.
The usually level-headed father said walking into Sascha's room to find her watching the reality show from her phone was a scene he could not bear to witness.
"I lost my temper with that one," he admitted.
Why Jerry Seinfeld Brutally Rejected Kesha's Hug
View StoryThe legendary comedian slammed the famous family for "not doing anything interesting."
"For someone who for their whole life, television was the Olympics of being a comedian... It was only for the very best," Seinfeld said. "You had to have everything. You had to go through all the different hierarchies of your career to get to television."
But the Kardashians are not the only folks Seinfeld doesn't associate with. The funnyman made headlines earlier this week for dodging a hug request from Kesha during a recent red carpet interview.
"I was right in the middle of an interview, it was a little off,” the comedian said while explaining the awkward moment that went viral. "When you get to be my age and you've done a couple things, you have your own reality, in my reality, I don't hug a total stranger. I have to meet someone, say hello. I gotta start somewhere ... hug is not first moment of a human, two humans. I never did that."
