After reports were swirling around about a possible "Jersey Shore" reunion, fans finally got what they wanted. Well, kinda.
Though a series revival may not be in the works, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Pauly D, Jenni "JWoww" Farley, Deena Cortese, Vinny Guadagnino and Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola did get together to film a commercial for Burger King's new Chicken Parmesan sandwiches.
The commercial gets the Jersey crew together to catch up as they chow down on the fast food chain's newest menu option. It's filmed like a reality show, showing the cast at one of BK's establishments to reminisce on some of their favorite shore memories.
One notable member missing from the clip is Ronnie Ortiz-Margo.
"The reunion was for a Burger King commercial and it was shot on East Coast, but he is in a holding position right now because he's filming on the West Coast," his rep told TooFab. "If there was an opportunity for a reunion he would be excited and would love to be with his fellow castmates."
Alongside the commercial, TMZ reported that the cast is also filming a "Where Are They Now"-type special airing in August.
The reunion is not a full series pickup, but will be either a one-time special or just a couple episodes.
