Emmy Award Nominations Announced: Full List

Chief executive officer of the Television Academy Hayma Washington was joined by "Veep" star Anna Chlumsky and "Criminal Minds" alum Shemar Moore for the announcement.

With "Game of Thrones" sitting out this year (the show doesn't premiere until this coming Sunday), a batch of fresh faces were honored this time around, including Hulu's "The Handmaid's Tale," "Westworld," "This Is Us," "Atlanta" and "Big Little Lies."

"Westworld" and "SNL" led the pack, with 22 noms each. "Feud: Bette and Joan" and "Stranger Things" were close behind with 18, "Veep" nabbed 17, while "Fargo" and "Big Little Lies" racked up 16.

Other notable nominations include Shannon Purser getting #JusticeForBarb with some love for her "Stranger Things" role, Alec Baldwin getting recognized for his Trump portrayal.

The Emmy Awards will be held September 17 on CBS with Stephen Colbert as host.
