"Blade Runner" fans get more plot in the second trailer for the upcoming sequel, and Ryan Gosling fans get much more of the handsome actor, even if his face is covered in blood, bruises or bandages for most of it.
Based on what we're seeing in the "Blade Runner 2049" preview (above) that debuted Monday morning on "Good Morning America," it looks like the movie star gets in his fair share of trouble over the course of the futuristic thriller while trying to track down Harrison Ford's character, Rick Deckard, the central protagonist of the original 1982 film directed by Ridley Scott.
It looks like the former LAPD cop who hunted down replicants all those years ago has been on the run himself.
"I covered my tracks, scrambled the records," Deckard tells Gosling's character, Officer K. "We were being hunted."

"That's not possible. If this gets out, we've bought ourselves a war," she says, then adds at another point in the trailer, "This breaks the world."
"Blade Runner 2049" is directed by Denis Villeneuve ("Arrival") and hits theaters on Oct. 6.
