Comic-Con 2017 went down this past weekend in San Diego, where the mostly-costumed masses gathered for the annual celebration of all things sci-fi, horror, fantasy and superhero-inspired.
With sneak peeks at upcoming films and television shows, incredibly impressive cosplay and some memorable interactions between celebrities and their biggest fans, there were quite a few moments even the non-geek crowd went wild for over the past few days.
Keep reading for the breakdown of all the can't-miss news, videos and more from this year's epic event.
Gal Gadot's Fan Interaction Goes Viral

Gadot came face to face with a young fan dressed as Wonder Woman during an autograph signing, taking time to comfort the girl who walked up to her idol with tears in her eyes.
"There's no reason to cry, all right?" she told the fan, "Here we are together." In the clip, Ezra Miller is also seen telling her, "You're a warrior! Your ability to cry is what makes you such a warrior. Come join the Justice League whenever you get ready." Ben Affleck -- who was seen with a crying fan of his own -- even looked over and commented on how "sweet" the moment was.
A woman claiming to be the girl's mother later tweeted about the interaction, writing, "Gal was so sweet to her. Memories of a lifetime!"

Miller had a fun fan moment of his own when he was spotted out on the town by TMZ on Saturday night.
After explaining why it would be "very difficult" for The Flash to get drunk, a fan asked if he could smell his breath. Miller did one better though, and planted a wet one on the guy's lips instead.
"How'd it smell?" he asked as the crowd went wild.
"Justice League" Unites Hall H In Fandemonium
This is the last "Justice League" mention on the list, we promise. During the Warner Bros. Hall H panel on Saturday, the entire cast hit the stage and whipped the crowd into a frenzy.
After Ben Affleck shot down reports he wasn't satisfied playing the caped crusader, the gang unleashed the newest trailer for their superhero teamup flick.
With new shots of Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Batman, The Flash and Cyborg in action as they united against Steppenwolf, the new sneak peek left fans very optimistic about the movie following the somewhat disappointing "Batman V. Superman."
Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber's Son Wins Best Dressed

Liev and sons Kai and Sasha attended Comic-Con to support Naomi, who was in town promoting "Twin Peaks."
Schreiber and the two boys went viral though after they posed together at the Entertainment Tonight photobooth, each in their own amazing getups. While Liev rocked a Batman mask and Sasha was dressed as a Jedi, it was Kai's amazing Harley Quinn costume that really impressed.
The actor shared the family photo on his own Instagram page, captioning the photo, "Look out ComicCon!"
Captain Marvel Details Leave Audience Gagging

While Brie Larson wasn't on hand to talk about her role in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe movie, the first concept art of her in costume was unveiled in Hall H to raucous applause.
It was also revealed that the movie will actually take place in the '90s, with Samuel L. Jackson reprising his role as Nick Fury. Oh yeah, and he'll have two eyes! Also, The Skrulls will make their MCU debut in the movie, which some have speculated may also include an appearance from Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell).
Larson later shared some of the concept art on Twitter and tweeted about how much her mentions were blowing up after the big reveal.
My feed is blowing up so much Twitter just tried to step in! Wow!!! Don't worry, I said "No, Thanks" 💕💕💕💕 pic.twitter.com/gUmMbzSGKA

"Thor: Ragnarok," "Black Panther" and "Infinity War" Sneak Peeks Crush It
Unfortunately, the new trailer for "Thor: Ragnarok" is the only one that has been officially released by Marvel Studios following the Hall H panel on Saturday, but man is it a good one!
The sneak peek revealed that Hulk will actually speak in the new movie and Loki may team up with his estranged brother to take down Cate Blachett's badass Hela, as well as shined a light on the tone of the film, which seems both epic and hilarious.
New footage from "Black Panther" was also revealed, teasing one amazing fight sequence featuring Chadwick Boseman, Danai Gurira and Lupita Nyong'o. Trust us when we say these women are going to steal the movie.
The panel ended with the trailer for "Infinity War," which was shown at D23 a week before. Most in the crowd hadn't seen it yet though and the footage brought everyone to their feet. Seeing the Guardians of the Galaxy come face-to-face with Thor and the rest of the Avengers was a real treat and witnessing Thanos' incredible power with just two of the Infinity Stones was awe-inspiring.
The panel also revealed Michelle Pfeiffer will join "Ant-Man and the Wasp" as the original Wasp, Janet Van Dyne.
"The Walking Dead" Trailer Teases Huge Time Jump
While the cast canceled their press appearances at Comic-Con following the death of a stuntman, the cast was on hand for a big Hall H panel that ended with the debut of the Season 8.
Though most of the footage focused on the "All Out War" arc from the comics, which sees Rick and his group of survivors rallying together in a battle against Negan, the final shot teased something else: a time jump.
The clip ended with Rick sporting a much shorter 'do and impressive beard, the kind that certainly takes some time to grow up. Without diving into spoilers, the time jump also happens in the comics, where fans were slowly updated on what their favorite characters had been up to in gap.
"Stranger Things" Surprise
The trailer for Season 2 of "Stranger Things" was definitely one of the most buzzed about clips of the weekend, setting the Halloween theme for the show's return. Will Byers seems to be at the center of it all, as things clearly did not go back to normal following his return from the Upside Down in the season finale.
The video, set to a killer remix of "Thriller," also teased the return of Eleven and a massive new creature for the gang to take on.
During the Hall H panel, the cast got a surprise of their own when it came time for fan questions. Instead of a random person from the crowd, Shannon Purser (Barb herself) stepped up to the mic. Her question: "And I wanted to know if Barb was coming back for season two."
