"The Bachelorette" season finale was not all love and happiness, especially for fans on social media.
Rachel Lindsay had a dramatic breakup with contestant (and fan favorite) Peter Kraus, who admitted in the final episode that he wasn't willing to propose to her yet, as he believed it would be too soon. A defensive Lindsay insisted that she was looking for an engagement, no matter what, so he would inevitably have to go if he wasn't willing to get down on one knee in front of cameras.
After the couple ended their relationship, and were done sobbing to death, Lindsay and Kraus said goodbye and the the last man standing was Bryan Abasolo. People immediately took to Twitter to complain she was "settling" for Abasolo, and that he was most definitely not the person Linsday really wanted to be with. Or as one viewer summed it up, "This was a complete waste of a season."

View StoryLindsay responded to accusations she settled for Abasolo during an appearance on "Live with Kelly & Ryan" Tuesday morning when Ryan Seacrest read the reality star a letter from a disappointed fan.
“It's so funny to me, I've never been one to settle or to be desperate for anything," Lindsay said. "That's why I was 32 and still single. So like, when people say things like that, like Bryan was runner up, I'm like 'no,' I think you can clearly see that I have a lot of love for Bryan. I never would have just chosen a ring."
