Marilyn Manson told Justin Bieber he'd try to avoid talking about him again today on Howard Stern, but thankfully for us, that didn't happen.
This morning, the rocker was asked about his beef with the "Sorry" singer, which stemmed from Bieber recently making and sporting a t-shirt with Manson's face on it. ICYMI: Manson said he ran into Biebs at a bar and told him he thought it was "cool" of Justin to wear the top. Bieber, in turn, supposedly quipped "I made you relevant again." When re-telling the story in to Consequence of Sound, Manson went on to call Bieber "a real piece of shit" for the comments.
"It was just a cocky little thing to say," he told Stern this morning, before sharing the alleged text messages Bieber sent him after Manson started talking about it in the press.

Also, if anything wasn't squared away with the T-shirts I'm so sorry," Stern read out loud from Manson's phone. "Anyway, regardless, it kind of stung seeing that if I came off as an asshole or even just was an asshole I'm sorry."
Stern said Bieber then sent a bunch of question mark texts when Manson didn't immediately respond. When he finally did reply, he simply wrote, "Words." "That's what I say to girls when they talk," Manson explained.
Manson later replied, ""That [the interview] was exaggerated. You were just you being you. No beef here."

"We are cool. People just made that shirt stuff into a fake feud. Let's turn it upside-down and fuck the press and do something together," Manson later wrote back. "It will be the best. And don't apologize, you weren't an asshole. They asked if you were and I sort of agreed. I wasn't out to get you. If not, I'll try to avoid more questions today on Stern. I won't shit talk you on Stern."
When pressed on whether or not Bieber is an "asshole," Manson wouldn't pick a lane. "It's up for him to decide," he explained with a laugh. "I said 'you were just being you,' which could mean you're just being an asshole, or whatever."
