Tyrese Gibson is ticked off "Fast and Furious 9" was pushed back to 2020 and he's blaming Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson for the delay.
The actor called out his co-star on Instagram on Wednesday night, after the release date for the ninth film in the franchise was moved from April 19, 2019 to April 10, 2020 earlier in the day.
"#PSA Congratulations to @TheRock and your brother in law aka 7 bucks producing partner @hhgarcia41 for making the fast and the furious franchise about YOU - And like you, DJ even if they call I will not be deleting this post," he wrote in the comments alongside the new release date announcement.
"Gn folks see you in 2020 April #FastFamily right? Nah..... it's about #TeamDewayne," he continued. "#3yrs will it be worth the wait? #NoShaw just Hobbs will this be another #BayWatch? Guys guys just relax I'm just a passionate film critic."
Tyrese Blasts Rock Over 'Furious' Spinoff After Actor Ignored His Texts
View StoryFollowing the success of "Fate of the Furious," a spinoff with Johnson and Jason Statham's characters was announced, something it appears Gibson has a problem with.
Reps for Universal Pictures and Johnson have not yet returned TooFab's request for comment.
This isn't the first time Gibson has used his Instagram to attack his co-star. In September, the actor also used social media to call out Johnson for not returning his text messages.
"If you move forward with that #Hobbs Movie you will have purposely ignored the heart to heart moment we had in my sprinter -- I don't wanna hear from you until you remember what we talked about -- I'm on your timeline cause you're not responding to my text messages -- #FastFamily is just that a family....... We don't fly solo," he wrote in the comments on one of Johnson's posts.

View StoryAfter that plea went unanswered, Gibson posted a lengthier statement along with a photo of him and Johnson together. In the message, he changed his tune about the Hobbs film, saying he did want The Rock to make it, just not before the next move in the "Fast" franchise.
"I have never and will never have a problem with this major movie star he's my brother.... I repeat ever....... bro just being honest I didn't like Bay Watch lol - but I did rent out 2 full theaters and take a bunch of kids with my daughter from her #PrivateSchool to support Moana!!!! ( I was surprised you could sing so well ).... oh shit!!" he wrote.
"I'm simply trying to reach him cause he won't call me back about this solo #HobbsMovie I want you to shoot it just not right now cause the #Fast9 release date has already been announced and we can't let our loyal fans #FastFamily or our loyal fast and furious FANS down on any level from pushing the date," he continued.
"I'm doing this only on behalf of our families so we keep them all in private school...... God bless you good brother!!!! I never ever go public with private family issues.... Once you hit me back I will delete every post," Gibson added.
He did later delete his post.
