After POTUS took to Twitter to bash late night hosts for their one-sided coverage, the "Jimmy Kimmel Live" host clapped back. Though Trump did not call out Kimmel personally, Kimmel didn't hold back, using humor to make his point.
"Late Night hosts are dealing with the Democrats for their very 'unfunny' & repetitive material, always anti-Trump! Should we get Equal Time?" Trump tweeted early Saturday.
Kimmel sarcastically clapped back saying, "Excellent point Mr. President! You should quit that boring job – I'll let you have my show ALL to yourself #MAGA."
When Trump did not respond, that's when the Junior Trump jumped in to defend his father. "Thoughts on Harvey Weinstein? #askingforafriend" Donald Trump Jr tweeted in response to Kimmel, pointing out that the Weinstein drama was surprisingly absent from this week's monologues.
"You mean that big story from the failing, liberal, one-sided New York Times? I think it is disgusting" Kimmel said, again with his sarcasm.
Kimmel was not the only late night host to stand up to the President, however. Seth Meyers, jokingly tweeted at Trump saying, "We'd love to have you! Studio located at 15 Penguin Avenue, Antarctica."
