Trevor Noah believes Melania Trump might just be the only person in the White House qualified for calling the wives of America's fallen soldiers.
The late-night host's comments come after Congresswoman Frederica Wilson of Florida said she overheard a phone call POTUS made to the widow of Sgt. La David Johnson, a U.S. soldier killed in Niger by Islamist militants this month. According to her, he told her that her husband "knew what he signed up for, but I guess it still hurts."
"I don't think we should be surprised that Trump offended this family," Noah said. "We're all heard him speak; we're offended every day. What do you think, a phone is going to magically transform him into Sir Phineas the Eloquent? Like, Trump's going to be talking like, 'All these losers and haters! Bing, bing, bong, bong. Bigly. Hold on, I gotta make a call. Greetings and salutations. My soul is awash in a great flood of sorrow as I reflect upon your circumstance. Fare thee well. Right, where was I? Little Rocket Man.' It's not going to happen."

View StorySo who could make these calls? Noah found it troubling to choose a candidate since there aren't too many options around anymore.
"Jared Kushner can't do it because he's on line one fixing the Middle East. You don't want Sarah Huckabee Sanders calling 'cause she'll tell you your son didn't die. And then, 30 other people can't do it because they've all been fired," he said.
He then added that Melania might be the best option. "Although I don't trust her to not sneak in her own personal agenda," Noah said, "I wouldn't be shocked if she was like, 'I'm so jealous for the loss of your husband.'"
