Nicki Minaj, Nicki Minaj and Nicki Minaj took over the internet in a NSFW "Minaj à Trois" on the cover of Paper Magazine.

Released Tuesday evening, the racy cover -- shot by Ellen von Unwerth -- shows three different versions of the rap star all intertwined in what has now become a sexual fantasy people didn't even know they wanted.

The idea was concocted by Drew Elliott -- one of the masterminds behind putting Kim Kardashian on the cover of Paper for the magazine's 30th anniversary issue back in 2014. In a note to readers, Elliott said Paper had not released a break the internet-worthy issue since Kim, and that "it takes a certain type of talent with an awesome fan base" to do it again.

"Break the Internet is all about the big idea, the word, the image," he said. "It came to me one day that 'Minaj à trois' had never been done. HOW? We have seen different versions of Nicki, from high fashion to seductive to in-your-face and eye-catching all at the same time. But we had never seen all of these together -- and now we have the chance."

Nicki shared the photo on Instagram, eliciting praise from the O.G. internet breaker -- Kim -- who "liked" the picture and praised Nicki with three fire emojis. Blac Chyna -- Nicki's friend and occasional collaborator -- echoed Kim's sentiments with four heart-eyed emojis.
