DMX is making holiday music great again with a cover of classic hit "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer." His hip-hop version, officially titled "Rudolph the Rednose Reindeer," is significantly raspier.
The once-chart-topping rapper released the Christmas cover Wednesday as part of Spotify's holiday singles list, which also includes jingles from Miley Cyrus, Sam Smith, Norah Jones and Fifth Harmony.
DMX's track particularly stands out from the rest of the pack because it is distinctly unique, and fans of the signature voice behind early 2000s hits "Up in Here" and "X Gon Give It to Ya" should find it very amusing, too.
The track comes five years after DMX first blessed the internet with an on-the-spot cover of the holiday classic while visiting New York radio station Power 105.1.
The official track, produced by Divine Bars, is all that and more. TooFab highly recommends blasting this while shopping with your parents this holiday season -- and filming their reactions. Please and thank you.
DMX's "Rudolph" dropped just ahead of what may very well go down in history as his comeback year, since he's got tour dates, Ruff Ryders reunion shows and even a TV project coming in 2018.
