His team may have lost, but 13-year-old Ryan -- the kid who snapped the selfie with Justin Timberlake mid-halftime show -- definitely won Super Bowl LII.
Ryan, who wished to be referred to by first name only, appeared on "Good Morning America" Monday, where he was still swimming in excitement from the night before.

Ryan said he was told by stadium personnel before the halftime show began that he was seated in a special section, but he had no idea JT would be stopping and singing right next to him.
"He just came up and I just jumped right in there with him and he stopped right in our row, so it was perfect," Ryan said.
Even though Ryan was experiencing some technical issues taking a selfie, he still managed to snap the shot successfully.
"I had a video going, and my phone shut off," he explained. "That's why I was on my phone. I love him. He's my favorite singer, and I had to get the selfie with him."
Immediately following the breakout moment, Ryan said his phone "just exploded," adding that he's received 8,000 new followers on social media.

"All the media just rushed me, and it was crazy," he said.
Although Ryan only got 3 hours of sleep Sunday night, he said it was all worth it.
"It was definitely a great opportunity," he said. "This is insane, like, this is crazy that I got to meet him and get a picture with him 'cause he's awesome."
