While Harvey Weinstein and Ben Affleck were perhaps not having their best days on Monday, Rose McGowan seemed to reveling in their misery.
The actress, #MeToo activist and Weinstein accuser was positively giddy about The Weinstein Company's bankruptcy filing -- and what else it unleashed -- while seemingly throwing shade at Affleck's glorious(ly awful) back tattoo.
After months of trying to secure new owners, The Weinstein Company officially declared itself bankrupt, fini, kaput on Monday night, but in doing so they also announced they would be releasing anyone and everyone from any nondisclosure agreements they may have signed. Those still-valid NDAs may have kept more Weinstein accusers from speaking out about any alleged sexual assaults or the coverup activities the company may have been involved in.
Rose McGowan and James Franco's Accusers Slam Sharon Stone for Defending Him
View Story"Today, the Company also takes an important step toward justice for any victims who have been silenced by Harvey Weinstein," TWC said in a statement to USA Today. "No one should be afraid to speak out or coerced to stay quiet. The Company thanks the courageous individuals who have already come forward. Your voices have inspired a movement for change across the country and around the world." Weinstein, meanwhile, continues to maintain his innocence and states that all sexual encounters he had were consensual.
McGowan saw this latest development as a victory in itself, and a step toward total victory. And she loved even more that the bankruptcy came on Weinstein's 66th birthday. She loved it so much, she filmed a special birthday message for her alleged attacker.

"Happy birthday, Harvey Weinstein," she said in a sinister voice, looking down at her camera. "I told you we'd be coming. I told you 20 years ago if I heard of you doing this to another girl or a woman we would come for you, I would come for you. Happy f-cking birthday." She then added with a whisper and a wink, "We win!"
Ben Affleck's Massive, Very Real Phoenix Back Tattoo Gets Torched After He Previously Claimed It Was Fake
View StoryWhile it's not entirely certain that McGowan was throwing shade Affleck's way with an earlier tweet that same day, it was certainly a coincidental use of a purple phoenix image, if not. Back in 2016, when images of Affleck's massive phoenix back tattoo first surfaced, the actor declared they were temporary and for a film role. This appears now not to be the case.

Yes, it's possible her tweet had nothing to do with Affleck's unfortunate ink, but it probably does. McGowan called out the actor directly in another Monday tweet responding to a New York Daily News post that cited Weinstein as claiming Affleck -- who is referred to as a witness to her allegations against Weinstein -- denies McGowan's version of events.
'A' -List Actor 🤣🤣🤣 don't make your ideas of status ours, Brafman. Being a douche in a Batman film doesn't make him superior to ANYONE. LOSER. Your reality is a pathetic one, Barfman. - McGowan thinks Harvey Weinstein wants her dead https://t.co/ui9PvD9dUT

Back in January, Weinstein's lawyer released an email from Affleck that said he didn't know anything about the alleged assault; this despite McGowan claiming she told Affleck immediately after it happened. We're gonna go out on a pretty sturdy limb and say the pheonix reference was both a jab at Affleck's purported complicity with Weinstein's version of events, as well as a rallying cry for the entire #MeToo movement, and her #RoseArmy in particular.
But mostly a jab.
