Christina Aguilera is back with a vengeance today, thanks to a new single, an album on the horizon and a just-released Billboard cover story.
The pop diva graces the cover of the magazine's May 5 issue, where she not only teased the sound of her new music, but also spilled some tea on quite a few famous faces and her time on "The Voice," a show she described as an "energy sucker."

She Sure Hated "The Voice"
She referred to the show as an "energy sucker" in the piece, adding that if left her "longing for freedom" from the "TV zone."
Aguilera explained that she'd rather talk about "positive things" when asked if she'd ever return to the show, which she appeared on from 2011-2016. "It became something that I didn't feel was what I had signed up for in Season 1," she continued. "You realize it's not about music. It's about making good TV moments and massaging a story."
"I didn't get into this business to be a television show host and to be given all these [rules]," explained Aguilera. "Especially as a female: You can't wear this, can't say that. I would find myself on that show desperately trying to express myself through clothing or makeup or hair. It was my only kind of outlet."
She was certainly known for her wild looks through her run on the show -- relive a few of them here!
She's Got Love for Kylie Jenner
The youngest Kardashian made headlines when she decided to dress up as Christina's "Dirrty" alter-ego for Halloween in 2016, a move which caught X-Tina's eye. Aguilera later invited Kylie Jenner to her birthday party, and was in turn invited to the family's holiday bash.
"I said, 'You have to come dressed in that getup,'" Christina said of her "dress as your inner child"-themed soiree. "So I guess Kylie's inner child was very dirty. But I love it! Because she speaks my language."
Kendall Jenner is also going to be moving onto her block soon, something Christina said she was excited about so she can have "allies" in the neighborhood.

While Kanye West has been in the news for his erratic behavior and political tweets of late, that wasn't the case when Christina worked with him before his breakdown in 2016. Kanye produced two songs on her upcoming album, the first single "Accelerate" and a track named "Maria."
"I've always been a huge fan of Kanye," she said. "Outside of, you know, his controversial aspects, I just think he's a great artist and musicmaker and beatmaker. The artists that he chooses to pluck from different walks of life are so interesting."
She admitted the two fell out of touch though, because "there were some personal things that arose."
She Can't Drive
Christina doesn't have her driver's license!
The writer of the piece noted that they had a driver bring them around the neighborhood to listen to her album in her Escalade, because she couldn't do it herself.
Apparently, she's afraid of people with "road rages" in Los Angeles and was successful enough at a young age to just hire a driver.
P!nk Disputes 'Riff' With Christina Aguilera After AMA Performance Reaction Was Misinterpreted as Shade
View StoryShe Has No Beef with P!nk
The two "Lady Marmalade" singers were often pitted against each other in the media, with P!nk confirming that Aguilera once took a swing at her at a nightclub. In a "Watch What Happens Live" interview in 2017, the "Let's Get It Started" singer attributed their differences to the fact that she and Aguilera both have alpha personalities and they were both "super young and super new" when they began their singing careers around the same time.
When asked about the rumored rift, Christina said, "I've always appreciated women and have hated what this business can do to pit people against each other."
She added that she loved seeing P!nk on "The Voice" in 2016. "I was so excited -- even she was like, 'Why is she so excited to see me?' I was like, 'Another female! There's another vagina in the room! I'm so excited!'"
Though P!nk also teased a collaboration between the two on "WWHL," her name doesn't appear on the track listing for "Liberation," out June 15.
