Powerhouse vocalists and advocates for female empowerment Christina Aguilera and Demi Lovato just blessed us with a new song.
On Wednesday morning, Aguilera released the highly anticipated duet, "Fall In Line" -- the latest track off her upcoming album, "Liberation."
Christina Aguilera Gets Emotional Reflecting on Her Past, Strips Down Her Image In Short Film
View StoryThe song, which the two will perform at Sunday's Billboard Music Awards, is an anthem of self-empowerment and inner strength.
"Little girls, listen closely / 'Cause no one told me / But you deserve to know," X-tina begins the fiery track. "That in this world, you are not beholden / You do not owe them / Your body and your soul / All the youth in the world will not save you from growing older / And all the truth in a girl is too precious to be stolen from her."
Although the lyrics coincide perfectly with the #MeToo and #TimesUp era, Aguilera and Lovato have been proponents of empowerment since the former released "Fighter" (2002) and "Can't Hold Us Down" (2002), and the latter dropped "Confident" (2015) and "Sorry Not Sorry" (2017).

View Story"It's just the way it is / And maybe it's never gonna change / But I got a mind to show my strength / And I got a right to speak my mind," Xtina and Demi sing in the chorus. "And I'm gonna pay for this / They're gonna burn me at the stake / But I got a fire in my veins / I wasn't made to fall in line / No, I wasn't made to fall in line."
