'Avengers: Infinity War' Cast Takes Over Hollywood for Premiere

Between "Avengers," "Deadpool 2," and "Sicario: Day of the Solado," it's the summer of Brolin -- and we're for it.

Josh Brolin read Trump tweets in the voice of the most powerful supervillain in the Marvel Universe -- his "Avengers: Infinity War" character Thanos -- and it worked all too well.

The actor may have stopped by "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert" Tuesday to talk about his new film "Sicario: Day of the Solado," but Colbert couldn't help bringing up the purple-tinted villain -- and how people compare him to Donald Trump. Brolin agreed with this correlation.

"[Thanos'] intention was there's an overabundance of population and there's limited resources," Brolin said. "The manifestation is callous. And if you look at Trump -- yes, there are border problems, every border has problems, with overpopulation and limited resources and all that -- but how it's manifested, especially when you bring children into it, is extremely callous."

Because of this similarity between Trump and Thanos, Colbert asked if Brolin would read some of the President's infamous tweets as Thanos.

Brolin agreed, put on his glasses ("Grandpa Thanos"), and went all in. And it totally worked.

"It would seem very hard to obstruct justice for a crime that never happened...Witch hunt," he read in the first tweet. This needs to be a regular segment on Colbert. We're starting a petition.

"Sicario: Day of the Solado" hits theaters June 29th. "Avengers: Infinity War" and "Deadpool 2" are in theaters now.
