Happy Friday, music lovers!
Some of the biggest names in the biz dropped new music this week, including Drake, Kanye West, Teyana Taylor, G-Eazy, Meek Mill, Miguel, Joe Jonas, Tyler, The Creator, Offset, Kenny Chesney, A$Ap Ferg, OneRepublic and Charli XCX.
Drake Confirms He Fathered Son with Porn Star, Jay-Z's Tribute to XXXTentacion and More 'Scorpion' Takeaways
View StoryOn Drake's long-awaited album, "Scorpion," the rapper confirms he fathered a son with a porn star and reveals why he kept it under wraps for so long. On one of the tracks, Jay-Z also name-drops the late XXXTentaction, whose new music video for "SAD!" also dropped this week.
"SAD!" was the last project the 20-year-old South Florida rapper worked on before he was shot and killed a little over a week ago. In the cryptic, 6-minute video, X attends his own funeral. He also faces a man in a black-hooded cape, who demands him to "spread love throughout the world, praise and joy unto my name and change the overall cycle of energy we are digesting."
Earlier this week, Kanye admitted to The New York Times he thought Drake was the No. 1 rapper in the game, which is interesting because Kanye's longtime collaborator, Pusha-T, recently outed that Drake had a child, sparking major beef between Drake, Pusha-T and Kanye -- who just released his fifth album of the year with Teyana Taylor. Did you get all that?
