Nikki Bella may be wedding dress shopping on this Sunday's "Total Bellas" episode, but she's currently "just friends" with John Cena.
The WWE Diva set the record straight about her on-again-off-again relationship with Cena earlier this week in a video she shared on her YouTube channel. And spoiler alert: It sounds like the romance is headed for a train wreck.
Nikki Bella Reveals Her Own Reservations About Marrying John Cena on 'Total Bellas'
View Story"It has been a super emotional roller coaster ride and I think it's hard for people to understand because we film and things get shown a few months after and people are like, 'Are they together? Are they not?'" Nikki began her vlog. "Because I am a reality star, and I do have a reality show ... I feel like I have to say what's the update on John and I, but right now we're just friends."
"We are both working on each other, and trying to work on us," she continued. "We talk every day. He is not only my best friend but he truly is one of the most amazing people I have ever met. He has patience with me and he has really taught me a lot over the past few months. I think one of those things is an inner strength I thought I had but I didn't realize how strong I had it."
The pair have been seen calling off their wedding over a disagreement about kids on this season of "Total Bellas," and then seen calling it back on after Cena said he was willing to give Nikki a child. And a preview of the second half of the season teased a possibility (which now seems like a sure thing) that they'll call off the wedding again.
"John and I might be calling off the wedding again," Nikki tells her sister Brie Bella over the phone in the clip.

"I do have hope for us," she said. "I hate to say perfect timing, but it's giving us time in life to see what we really want for the future."
The WWE star stressed that when she gets married she wants it to be "forever."
"I truly want to walk down that aisle and I want to give my vows and I want this to be one time and so there's a lot of issues that I had to deal with and really know what I wanted for the rest of my life," Nikki said.
Nikki is currently working on a book with Brie, and said that her relationship drama required sections to be rewritten as Nikki struggles to land the "happily ever after" she's been searching for.
The reality star teased what's to come on the rest of the Season of "Total Bellas," in which she said we will see her bachelorette party and how her "magical" wedding would have been.
"The season finale is very tough. I will just warn you all," Nikki said. "It's though very honest and raw and real and you will see why John and I are where we are at today."
