The Most Savage Reactions to Nicki Minaj and Cardi B Fight Harper's Bazaar Party

According to TMZ, the rival rappers got in a heated confrontation Friday night at the Harper's Bazaar party during New York Fashion Week. Cardi reportedly approached Nicki at her table and called her out for spreading lies about her, and then lost it. The "Bodak Yellow" singer took off her shoe and threw it at Nicki, but missed. The video footage shows that Cardi had to be held back security.

The incident quickly became a trending topic on Twitter and users chimed in to declare themselves either team Nicki or team Cardi. Whichever hip-hop diva they pledged their allegiance to, fans made sure to throw major shade at the other.

"Nicki still can't get a #1," one user wrote showing that Cardi B was trending at number 1, while Nicki was second. The "Anaconda" singer had recently been calling out everyone, from Kylie Jenner's baby Stormi to Spotify, as to why her album "Queen" hadn't reached number one on the charts.

"Oscars gotta bring back the Popular Film category for this Cardi and Nicki fight," one person joked.

Many Twitter users resurfaced old fights from pop-culture and music videos to poke fun at the rapper's quarrel. Miley Cyrus as Hannah Montana back in the Disney days and BTS videos were popular clips.

Although it's not confirmed what started the fight, Cardi took to her Instagram and said that the "Barbie Dreams" singer had been criticizing her parenting skills. (The rapper gave birth to daughter Kulture with husband Offset in July.)

"I've let a lot of shit slide!" Cardi wrote in a statement. "I let you sneak diss me, I let you lie on me ... But when you mention my child, you choose to like comments about me as a mother, make comments about my abilities to take care of my daughter is when all bets are f---kin off!!"

"I've worked hard and come too far to let anybody f--k with my success!!!!" she added. "Bitches talk about all that shit in they raps but in real life are pussy!!"
