"i look forward to the day you realize there are other ways to go about making yourself relevant than to criticize young, beautiful, successful women for everything they do," Ariana wrote.
Ariana Grande and Piers Morgan got into a full-blown Twitter war on Wednesday, after the British journalist threw shade at the singer, Ellen DeGeneres, Little Mix and Ariana's mom, Joan.
It all began on Tuesday when Morgan used Ellen as an example of what he believed was a double standard that was sexist against men (see tweet below). Things took a turn for the worse when the "Good Morning Britain" host slammed Little Mix's music video "Strip," where the members of the girl group have harsh critical words written on their body. Morgan tweeted that Little Mix needed to "admit" that they "stole" the idea from a Dixie Chicks cover from the early 2000s.

Yet I've been abused all day for complimenting @hollywills on her legs.
The hypocrisy of modern feminism laid bare..

Ariana's mother Joan then lashed out at the controversial journalist on Wednesday morning.
"Honestly what is wrong with you @piersmorgan?" Joan tweeted. "Didn't your mother ever teach you, if you have nothing nice to say, don't say it! You came for @TheEllenShow yesterday which was disgraceful, she is an angel. @LittleMix today, did you ever hear of paying homage? And..well never mind".
Morgan went on to clap back at Joan and claimed that she should be more concerned about Ariana using her "nudity" to sell records.
"Hi Joan, my mother taught me to speak my mind & never be afraid to express honestly held opinion. Ellen's a hypocrite - and as for Little Mix, I'd just prefer they use their talent to sell records rather than their nudity. As your own daughter does...!"
It was at this point that Ariana chimed in and slammed Morgan for his comments.
"Ellen is an incredible & kind human being," the singer wrote. "I use my talent AND my sexuality all the time because i choose to. women can be sexual AND talented. naked and dignified. it's OUR choice. & we will keep fighting til people understand. i say this w all due respect but thank u, next."
"keep fighting the fight divas @LittleMix," she added. "Your sisters have your back."
Ariana concluded, "Also @piersmorgan, i look forward to the day you realize there are other ways to go about making yourself relevant than to criticize young, beautiful, successful women for everything they do. i think that'll be a beautiful thing for you and your career or what's left of it."
The "thank u, next" singer and former "Celebrity Apprentice" star continued to battle it out on Twitter. Ariana even brought in some visual aids -- a partial nude photo of Morgan posing for an ad.
Morgan, however, seemed to only really care about his own popularity, later tweeting that he was the top trending topic on Twitter in the UK following his argument with Ariana.
Ellen saw Ariana coming to her defense and wrote, "I ❤️ you, @JoanGrande and @ArianaGrande, and everyone in this world who celebrates all people inclusively."

Hey @LittleMix - when are you going to admit you stole this idea from @dixiechicks? pic.twitter.com/dLRX2TMv2k

@joangrande
Today and tomorrow let's focus on light and love and being grateful. I am grateful for so so many people in my life, I am grateful for my family, friends and all those people I have met and yet to meet! Thank you for what 2018 has taught me and most importantly #ThankUNext!
@joangrande
Have her call me... it's not about being afraid, that's a cop out; and we all know in America that everyone has the right to speak their minds, but trash talk for the sake of denigrating women doing their jobs is at best misogynistic and at worst undignified and ignorant!
@joangrande
This is my last engagement with you... however, speaking honest truths and opinions is not a right of men only. Reflect on your behavior and interaction with them, most likely they called you that for good reason.. #ThankUNext

The only 'trash talk' came from Little Mix who called me a 'tw*t' on the radio.
@piersmorgan
I suggest you call THEIR mothers to tell them to wash their mouths out with soap. https://t.co/uJNp5ryypi
Hi Ariana!
@piersmorgan
How lovely to hear from you so soon after your mother.
Of course, women can do what they like - but if they/you use nudity to sell records to impressionable young female fans, I'll continue to call them/you out on it.
All due respect, but thank YOU. Next... https://t.co/PpRK5Wqs92
Now now, young lady - my career's doing just fine thanks.
@piersmorgan
For the record, I criticise/praise everyone - male, female, gender-fluid.
Indeed, I've written columns praising AND criticising you, and you deserved both. https://t.co/vfsDNqzYLl
