Once again, James Corden banked some Christmas cheer into each installment of "Carpool Karaoke" so he could make a year-end tribute to all the stars who helped him get to work on "The Late Late Show."
Of course, everyone knows it isn't Christmas without Michael Buble, so using the magic of the holiday season, James summoned Michael into his passenger seat so they could serenade America with a rousing rendition of "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)."
Paul McCartney Makes James Corden Tear Up During Most Emotional 'Carpool Karaoke' Yet
View StoryCorden's production team did a great job of creating a singular viewing and listening experience by combining James and Michael with Cardi B, Paul McCartney, Shawn Mendes, Barbra Streisand, Migos, Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera and Ariana Grande.
We cracked up when Cardi seemed surprised that James wanted to sing a Christmas song. "It's not even cold out," she said. But that's Southern California for you. Where Christmas looks just like the other 364 days.
Nevertheless, they definitely found the spirit of the season with a really fun mashup of differing styles and voices coming together like this is Band Aid or something.
Everybody had something different to contribute to the final piece, from Christina and Ariana proving those big notes throughout the piece, to Cardi bringing her signature sound and Migos injecting the Darlene Love classic with plenty of modern drip.
Cardi B Serenades Senior Citizens, Thinks James Corden Is 'Nasty' on 'Carpool Karaoke'
View StoryBarbra and Paul brought a little class, while Shawn brought that youthful spirit. And Michael, well he brought the Christmas. While it's hilarious that he's come to be known as the Christmas guy, we can't help but agree that there's something about hearing his voice that makes us think of this time of year, too.
The biggest takeaway from this piece, though, is that we really want to see more stars on "Carpool Karaoke" in 2019. Can't we at least get a monthly edition?
