"This one felt good," the actor wrote, accompanying an Instagram video capturing the sweet moment.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson gave his mother the gift of home for Christmas in the form of a literal new home.

"This one felt good," he kicked off a lengthy and touching caption to the video on Instagram. "Surprise! Bought my mom a new home for Christmas."

The actor captured the moment on video as his mother, Ata, was reading her Christmas card aloud, until she reached the part where he revealed her gift. With a gasp, she began to gently weep, holding the card over her face. It was a beautiful moment, and a testament to Johnson's love for his mother.

He's spoken often of the sacrifices and struggles his mother endured through his childhood, and his conviction through this troubled times to do right by her when he grew older. It's safe to say he's come through on those promises tenfold.

Johnson wrote in the caption that it's not just him picking out a nice house for his mother, either. This is all her. "I told her to treat this card like it's "Willy Wonka's Golden Ticket" because she gets to choose any home she wants - anywhere she wants," he wrote.

We're not gonna lie, that's a pretty daunting prospect, but how fun to get the opportunity to tour amazing homes around the country, or perhaps even the globe. Something tells us, though, she won't want to live too far away from her amazing son and those adorable grandbabies.

"I always say, if you got a good mama, then you gotta [sic] pretty good shot at becoming a decent human being," Johnson wrote. "And somehow, somewhere along the line I became one lucky SOB to be able to make stuff like this happen."

We can only imagine how crazy it is for both Johnson and his parents each time they sit back and take stock of their lives now as compared to how they began. And more importantly, how he's never taken any of it for granted, remaining humble and grateful and, perhaps most importantly, kind.
