Nikki Bella Hints She's Not Over Rocky Romance with John Cena: 'I'm Still in Love'

John Cena isn't in the latest trailer for the new season of "Total Bellas," but it looks like the "Bumblebee" star is still on his ex Nikki Bella's mind.

"It's confusing because I'm still in love with him," she tells Brie Bella.

Their rocky romance has been documented at length on the the E! reality show, and it looks like Cena may still have some kind of presence this season (at least in spirit), even though they called off their engagement.

But fear not, fans! You will definitely get to see Nikki moving on with her love life, as the trailer below shows her going on dates and even teases her hooking up with former "Bachelorette" finalist Peter Kraus.

Another noteworthy plot thread seems to stem from their staged beef with undefeated WWE Diva Rhonda Rousey during their comeback storyline, all while Brie is trying to have another baby with husband Daniel Bryan, who is also a professional wrestler.

"Did you tell him that we were trying for a baby?" Bryan asks after Brie spills the news that WWE invited her back into the ring.

All in all, it looks like there is plenty of drama in store for viewers when "Total Bellas" returns to E! on Jan. 13.

Last we heard from Nikki on the subject on love was in September, when said during an Entertainment Tonight interview, "I have to admit I am single but I'm not ready for mingling yet."

"He's doing him and I'm doing me," Nikki said, adding that she's focusing on "just fully being happy."

"I feel like I'm at that age where I'm discovering who I really am and what I want out of life and just, like, independence," she continued. "It is scary and you do have these moments of like, 'What am I doing?' -- you have fear, but I just am kind of liking the challenge and that fear because it's just forcing me to be out of my comfort zone."
