And part of the fun for the couple, we just learned, is that Teigen likes to ambush her husband with the often cheek-flushing and hilarious posts. While appearing on "The Ellen Show" Tuesday, Legend or "Mr. EGOT" as Ellen called him, talked about his wife's iconic Twitter account and how much say he actually gets in the often embarrassing messages sent out to the world.
To kick things off, Ellen shared some of Teigen's finest: "I like to send john nudes and say 'sorry wrong person" and "@johnlegend hey I'm alive it's fine you don't have to answer your phone I WOULDNT WANT U TO WORRY."
"'I always have a note in my pocket that says 'john did it' just in case I'm murdered because I don't want him to remarry #truelove #tips,'" Ellen read and Legend replied, laughing, "I didn't do it though!"
When asked if Teigen runs the tweets by Legend before posting, the singer replied, "She runs some tweets by me, but she never runs the ones when she's talking about me."
"We're next to each other on the couch, and she'll have this devilish look on her face like she's conniving some kind of devious plan, and then the tweet will go out," he added. "And I just look at her like, 'Hahaha that's funny.'"

Legend, 40, and Teigen, 33, share two adorable children: Luna, 2, and Miles, 9 months. While both kids look a lot like Legend, baby Miles is absolutely identical to Legend.
"He looks exactly like you," Ellen said and Legend replied, "It's funny because he looks more like me as an adult than he looks like me as a baby. Like, he's me."
The "All of Me" singer said that the kids get along "pretty well," but Luna does something interesting when she gets a little jealous. "She doesn't take it out on Miles," Legend said. "She just wants our attention more, so she'll just make more noise and when I'm holding Miles, she'll say, 'Daddy, hold me! Hold me too! Hold me too!' And then she laughs because she thinks it's so funny. She's like, 'You're holding two babies! Haha!'"
"She's a little Chrissy," Ellen said and Legend replied, "She is though. She is."
Ellen also spoke about when Teigen co-hosted the daytime talk show with Ellen and it looks like Legend wants to get in on the fun too. "You've never invited me to co-host," he told Ellen. "I've known you a lot longer than my wife has, Ellen. Are you saying she's funnier than me or cooler than me?"
"Y'all are equally funny and cool. I'm asking you right now. Would you like to co-host one day?" Ellen asked and Legend replied, "Of course, I would love to!"
We, for one, want this to happen sooner rather than later.
