"I am sick and tired, sick and tired, of everybody taking a shot at my wife Tori Spelling," the actor said. "Just because she's a celebrity they think they can say and do whatever they want."
Dean McDermott is slamming trolls who criticized his wife Tori Spelling over her recent Instagram ad for muffins.
Earlier this week, the "Beverly Hills, 90210" alum posted multiple photos of her children enjoying Little Bites muffins and praised the snack for its "real ingredients."

View Story"This mom of 5 finds snack time a balancing act between pleasing my kiddos and feeling good as a parent about what I'm feeding them," she captioned the post. "#Ad Thank you @littlebitessnacks for being yummy and kiddo approved ( my littles ❤️ the Chocolate Chip Muffins, Blueberry Muffins, and Strawberry Yogurt Muffins) while this mama bear is grateful that #lovelittlebites has no high fructose or corn syrup and is made with real ingredients like strawberries, blueberries, and bananas."
"PS- They are easy and mess free for little hands and great on the go! What is your kiddos fave flavor? #momwin".
However, there were many who didn't seem to approve of the sweet baked snack and mom-shamed Spelling for giving them to her children. "What you eat and feed your kids is up to you but please don't promote this is as a healthy option," one user wrote. "Sweets with refined sugar and no nutritional value for kids and then meal replacements and appetite suppression for adults. There's nothing healthy about this diet."

"Seeing the obesity epidemic amongst kids these days you all should be ashamed," another person commented. "How dare you make excuses for the crap these poor children are being hooked on by irresponsible parents. Shame on you!"
In response, McDermott, who shares five kids with Spelling: Stella, 10, Hattie, 7, Liam, 12, Finn, 6, and Beau, 2, came to his wife's defense in an Instagram video on Friday and slammed the trolls for criticizing Spelling...over a snack.
"Hey everybody I am sick and tired, sick and tired, of everybody taking a shot at my wife Tori Spelling," the actor began. "Just because she's a celebrity they think they can say and do whatever they want. She posted about a snack, it's a snack people. Haven't we given our kids a snack before? Cakes, cookies whatever. It's a snack."
McDermott defended his and Spelling's parenting skills. "She's a great mom. We're great parents," he said. "Our kids eat healthy. They eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, and occasionally they have a snack. So can we get over ourselves?...A snack. We gave our kid a snack and people are taking potshots at my wife."
"Listen, to all you parents out there who think you are holier-than-thou, 'let he who is without sin cast the first stone,' okay?" he concluded with a bible reference. "It's a snack people, get over it."
