Congratulations are in order for Hoda Kotb -- she's adopted another baby girl!
The "Today" show co-anchor announced via phone on Tuesday's episode that she has welcomed her second child, Hope Catherine Kotb.

The television personality, who is already a mom to 2-year-old daughter Haley Joy, shared the exciting news with her fellow "Today" personalities. "It's a girl! And her name is Hope!" she said through happy tears.
The morning show shared an adorable photo of Kotb with the newborn and Haley. In the shot, above, Kotb is seen holding the tiny bundle while Haley grins from ear to ear, undoubtedly full of joy to be a big sister.

Also during her emotional phone call into the show, Kotb's co-anchor Savannah Guthrie asked how Haley is doing with a new addition in the family. "This morning at breakfast, she was trying to feed her her raspberries and I was like, 'Not yet, babe,'" Kotb said through tears.
"She was literally marching around saying, 'I'm a big sister!' so much so that "she did try to crawl into [Hope's] bassinet," she added.
Kotb also recalled the incredible moment when Hope was given to her and her boyfriend Joel Schiffman.
"Joel and I were standing then when they hand you the baby and it's the closest thing to a live birth I think you'll ever see," she said. "In that moment I was like, 'My God.' My heart just grew 10 times, it's amazing. I just can't believe it's happening, y'all. I can't."

On Monday, Kotb posted what seemed like a motivational quote for the start of the week. The photo shows the words "Choose Hope," with blue clouds in the background. Kotb captioned the post, "Happy Monday xx." Little did everyone know, the talk show host was teasing a big announcement.
"You hope, you pray, you dream about things, and we thought about Hope," Kotb said of the new baby's name. "And we named her middle name Catherine after my best friend Karen, her daughter -- I think you guys know that her husband passed a little while ago, and Catherine is so super strong."
