Sophie Turner Marries Joe Jonas in Surprise Las Vegas Ceremony

Just hours after celebrating the Jonas Brothers reunion performance at the Billboard Music Awards, with the Jonas ladies in attendance, Joe and Sophie Turner tied the knot in a surprise ceremony.

Since they were in Las Vegas for the awards show, it only made sense that they do what young couples do every day in Sin City and tie the knot. But what happened in Vegas this time definitely didn't stay in Vegas.

Diplo appears to have been the first to break the news that all three Jonas Brothers were in attendance as Turner entered the chapel dressed in white. The DJ shared several moments from the evening to his Instagram Stories, as captured by a fan and reported by ET.

Turner can be seen entering the chapel, followed by a shot of all three brothers lined up in suits inside the chapel as Dan + Shay play guitar nearby. Diplo then captured the bride walking down the aisle over his shoulder as the country duo performed the new wedding anthem "Speechless."

And of course, since it's Vegas, they were married by an Elvis impresonator.

Khalid could be seen in the assembled crowd, along with some other attendees of the Billboard Music Awards, making it look like they staged a caravan across town. Or maybe it was a parade on foot. Either way, it's a pretty sweet moment and one completely out of left field.

Turner and Jonas announced their engagement back in October 2017, but there hasn't been a lot of extensive talk about wedding plans nor had a date ever been set. It's not yet clear why the couple decided on an impromptu wedding in Las Vegas after an awards show, but there was clearly a lot of love and positive energy in that room.

No one in the Jonas family has posted anything on the surprise nuptials yet, but it's understandable. They seem to have had a thing going on Wednesday night.
