Marlon Wayans is defending his daughter against anti-LGTBQ+ trolls on Instagram.
To kick off Pride month, the comedian posted a photo of his 19-year-old daughter, Amai Zackary Wayans, proudly showing off the rainbow-colored sole of her sneakers.

View Story"Happy Pride to my pride and joy," he captioned the shot. "I wouldn't change one effing thing about you. Love you to the moon, around the sun, through the galaxies and back again."
But many of Marlon's followers bashed him for allowing his daughter to love who she wants to love and not teaching her better morals. While the comedian didn't reply to every hateful comment, he did take on two trolls in particular.
"She's not old enough to understand what that's really all about," one critic wrote. "You have the power to change lives, bro. Don't teach her that."
"She's 19. She's who she is until or until she choose different," Wayans replied. "Love her for her, not what I want her to be."

View StoryAnother Instagram user urged the actor to "delete these negative comments" to keep the thread "happy," adding that she was "praying [the haters] drown in their own negativity." But Wayans said he needs "the world to see the ignorance that still exist."
"Objective without obstacles is a worthless triumph," he continued. "We all will some day get to unconditional love. Because of my daughter, I am one step closer. I am not God, I don't judge, I just LOVE. And still pray for the haters because I refuse to judge them, too. I just love."
