Cardi B is making Bernie moves... and Killer Mike is here for it.
The Run The Jewels hitmaker has defended his fellow rapper's involvement in politics, after some haters suggested she had no place in it.
"I though it was a wonderful thing," Killer Mike said this week. "You make a lot of money you don't have to be politically engaged, so I'm proud of her."
Both Mike and Cardi have been long-time Bernie supporters, but the latter's backing was further highlighted recently when she interviewed the 77-year-old Vermont Senator at a Detroit nail salon.
They talked student debt, climate change and the minimum wage; and according to Mike, that makes her a target.
"People will come at you hard just because of your platform," he said. "But I think she handles it with grace, I think she's an honest voice from her perspective.
